Model: BGG152SG. Film thickness: 192 µm (7.5 mil). Material: thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Gloss level: ≥140 GU, typical 146 (QC/T 1171-2022) — the highest in the BodyGuard lineup. Adhesive: pressure-sensitive, peel strength ~1,550 gf/inch after 24 hours. Elongation at break: ~360%. Top coat: ultra-gloss, self-healing (minor scratches disappear within 1 minute), anti-permeability. Warranty: 8 years against yellowing, cracking, peeling and delamination.
Gloss vs Super Gloss
Both films share the same TPU construction and self-healing chemistry. Bodyguard Gloss BGG152G is the everyday workhorse with maximum adhesion and elongation for complex curves. Super Gloss pushes the gloss reading to 146 GU for a concours-level, mirror-like appearance — the choice when visual impact comes first.
